Kris Coppieters
Hello folks! I am Kris Coppieters, grown up in the cosy village Uitbergen (meaning “away from mountains”) in Flanders, Belgium, and I am driven by an enormous curiosity to travel and to discover our beautiful planet. You can read my reports here.
And what shall I write about myself? I think I cannot better describe myself than by sharing my conviction that paradise does not exist, but that every individual can create it anywhere, any time.
Myself being more a moderate person, I like extremes in all contexts, because I learn most of them. When I want to realise something, I always give the best of myself. And apart from some rare kitchen expeditions, I generally succeed well, always with a good portion of luck.
I am intrigued by evolution, technology, development and by the huge and visible differences between and within societies. By travelling I hope to get a better picture of the how, the why and how could it be done more efficient?
This journey along minorities and local tribes will definitely yield new perspectives!Participants
